Third to host Kit Ripley, who supports survivors of trauma in Northern Thailand
Adult and Youth Bible Study Groups are invited to meet and review presentation from Kit Ripley, Sunday, February 22nd at 10am in Children’s Department. All church is invited. KIT's primary ministry is with Imago Art Studio, an outreach of the New Life Center Foundation (NLCF) in northern Thailand. She provides rehabilitative care for survivors of trauma, including sexual abuse, human trafficking and domestic violence through clinical mental health counseling and art therapy. She also supports spiritual formation through facilitating art and contemplative prayer retreats. Additionally, Kit provides administrative support and consultation for the New Life Center administrative team and board of directors, conducts staff development and training, and assists with public relations. https://internationalministries.org/author/k-ripley/ More…

Special Volunteer Opportunities: Alexandria Hamilton Christmas Basket Ministry
Friends, A very special December Food Pantry Event...Third's annual Alexandria Hamilton Christmas Basket Ministry needs your help! Thursday, December 18: Help unload the food truck about noon. Please contact Monican McDaniel-Collins for details. Friday, December 19: Christmas basket prep day begins at 9:00AM. Saturday, December 20: Now for the giveaway--the fun part! Volunteers arrive at 8:00 AM. Guests will get invitations to come at appointed times between 9:00 and 10:30 for their pre-bagged Christmas baskets. Many hands will make quick work, plan to stay until 11:30 for quick clean up. There will be snacks, music, toys and gift wrapping for guests with children, and a festive atmosphere as we share this Advent season with our community. More…
