St. Louis County Library - Tornado Relief Event
Tornado Relief Event Thursday, May 22, 11:00 a.m. Delmar DivINe, 5535 Delmar Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63112 St. Louis County Library is partnering with Delmar DivINe, St. Louis Area Diaper Bank, Operation Food Search and Missouri Baptist Disaster Relief to provide free diapers, period supplies and food on Thursday, May 22 starting at 11:00 a.m. while supplies last, walk-ups are welcome. Distribution will take place at Delmar DivINe, located at 5501 Delmar Blvd. Families can pick up a supply of 25 diapers, 25 period supplies, a bag of shelf-stable food, and a hot meal. Information about Library resources such as social workers, wi-fi hotspots and other services will also be available. More…
Urban Ministries Board grants Des Peres Baptist Church Endowment Fund to Stomp the World

The Des Peres Baptist Church Endowment Fund provided funding twice a year for service and projects held within in St. Louis city. Stomp the World received funding during the fall cycle in November 2024. The funds provided empowered Stomp the World a Daddy and Me Movement class that was for children ages 3-5 and their dads that included movement and art projects. The series occurred January - May 2025. The spring Des Peres Endowment Fund cycle concluded in April, but the Urban Ministries Board is looking forward to review applications and also to see what service request will be requested in the October series. Good Friday - Meditation
An hour long Meditation for Good Friday will begin at 7 pm in the sanctuary. String players, including the Perseid String Quartet, will join pianist Lansin Lim Kimler for works by Handel, Purcell, and Domenico Scarlatti, together with "A Passiontide Rhapsody" written for TBC by British composer, Sasha Johnson Manning. The music will be interspersed with sacred poems for Good Friday by Peter Abelard, Samuel Crossman, John Keble, Alice Meynell and Tony Silvestri. More…

Urban Ministries Board releases application for Endowment Fund

The Urban Ministries Board oversees the Des Peres Baptist Church Endowment Fund. The fund is designated for ministry in the city to move forward work that assists our community in flourishing.
