A History of Third in Six Objects

The culture of Third is strongly connected to history. Your love of roots and foundation is exemplified in desires to keep objects of historical value. What can we glean from past victories and challenges?

Each Sunday we will reflect on a specific visual (from Oscar Johnson’s bust to a replica of the Sanctuary and Third’s 1925 baseball team) which will inform and cherish our past—while offering wise road maps for our future.

Beloved, communion is a memorial.  A trumpet sound of remembrance, which should awaken our emotions, to remember our Lord’s broken body through eating of bread and his shed blood by partaking of the cup.  Take a good long look at this table in front you.  Communion has been served from this table for over 80 years at Third Baptist Church.
