Any and all donations, unless otherwise noted, made to Third's Missions Fund during the month of April will be sent directly to THIMAR, the Baptist Churches of Lebanon, who are providing care and much needed supplies for the Lebanese fleeing war torn areas........again. It is during times like this that the Christians provide sustenance and hope witnessing to the Love of Christ. Tour & Ten at the Christian Activity Center. Thursday, April 23, 11:30am. KIT’s primary ministry is with Imago Art Studio, an outreach of the New Life Center Foundation (NLCF) in northern Thailand. The New Life Center (NLC) is a partner of American Baptists in Northern Thailand, located, in Chiang Mai (meaning “New City”). This city is the second largest in Thailand, Bangkok being the largest. While a city of great beauty and cultural significance it also holds dark secrets. Over many years women from Chiang Mai and the wider region that includes Chiang Rai Province, as well as parts of neighboring Myanmar have been exploited and trafficked to southern Thailand. Kit provides rehabilitative care for survivors of trauma, including sexual abuse, human trafficking and domestic violence through clinical mental health counseling and art therapy. She also supports spiritual formation through facilitating art and contemplative prayer retreats. Additionally, Kit provides administrative support and consultation for the New Life Center administrative team and board of directors, conducts staff development and training and assists with public relations.

Friends, A very special December Food Pantry Event...Third's annual Alexandria Hamilton Christmas Basket Ministry needs your help! Thursday, December 18: Help unload the food truck about noon. Please contact Monican McDaniel-Collins for details. Friday, December 19: Christmas basket prep day begins at 9:00AM. Saturday, December 20: Now for the giveaway--the fun part! Volunteers arrive at 8:00 AM. Guests will get invitations to come at appointed times between 9:00 and 10:30 for their pre-bagged Christmas baskets. Many hands will make quick work, plan to stay until 11:30 for quick clean up. There will be snacks, music, toys and gift wrapping for guests with children, and a festive atmosphere as we share this Advent season with our community.
