Gabby Moore is one of our talented youth at Third Baptist Church. Sunday, April 17 I asked Gabby to draw an anchor from blank canvass during sermon.
The anchor was an early image produced by followers of the Way—”We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure” (Hebrews 6:19).
Gabby’s drawing reminds us of the emotional state of many who enter our campus. They enter our building battered by storms of life—searching for restoration of heart, mind and soul.
Thank you Gabby for the good reminder! Ministry can become tiring and draining—yet we are to “never tire in doing good”. Let’s support one another as we sail on together in the city for good!
Grace and Peace,
