Lessons from the Potter’s House

Dr. Tommy Simons

Beloved, if you’re going to make a difference, God will place you on the potter’s wheel.  He will not stand for you just being a lump of clay, and just silently and saying in apathy, “well this is just the way I am.”  God will place you on the potter’s wheel, because he will be in the process of forming something beautiful in your life.  And it is something that will last a lifetime.  It will never end.  Do you remember the words of Paul in a time of remarkable reflection?  In his letter to the Romans, the apostle Paul said this, “The good I want to do I do not do.”  We are continually formed, and continually broken, and continually remade into the image of Christ.  He will break you; he will create in you something new.
